Enneagram Typing: An Inquiry Approach
ICF Approved and IEA Accredited
Course Description
With your foundational Enneagram and Deep Coaching courses in hand, you are recognizing that there are a myriad of possibilities for using the Enneagram with your clients. If you are working at Deep Coaching Stage 2 or 3 with your clients (where they want to learn about and use the Enneagram for their personal development) introducing the process of typing is an important next step.
Supporting the typing process also advances your ability to further integrate and apply your knowledge, extend your understanding, practice new tools, and gain new insights.
In this typing and assessment course, you will learn essential Enneagram-related skills to support your clients in this important step of discovering their Type. While there are different typing assessments that provide both you and your client with valuable insight, the focus of this journey calls for a personalized dialogue of discovery. As a coach you will practice seeing with fresh eyes, listening anew, challenging your assumptions, and being in a shared inquiry with your client. This course experience will offer you more clarity, understanding and self-confidence as a Deep Coaching professional.
Format
This course is presented in a distance learning format, and includes seven sessions of 1 ½ hours each.
Each session is formatted for engaged learning and inquiry and will incorporate some of the following elements: lecture, coaching demo, break-out sessions, group inquiry, debrief, student presentation, and feedback.
Between sessions, you’ll offer practice typing sessions, refine your own Enneagram Inquiry Process which you will be using with your clients, and review readings to further ground your skills. You’ll meet with learning partners to complete occasional assignments. A private online forum will connect you with your peers to share your insights and ask questions. You can expect to invest an additional two to three hours each week outside of class time.
You may begin working with the fieldwork component of the certification program while in this class, thus, offering you an opportunity to immediately use this material.

This course is approved by ICF for 10.5 CEUs and is accredited by the International Enneagram Association (IEA).
